So what's new with me? Too much. Dean is getting way too big. He'll be a year old in two months. He's crawling at full speed now, getting into everything. Lifting himself into a standing position and walking around the room holding onto things. I'm just waiting for the day when he takes off and walks on his own, because I know it's soon. Very soon. He's such an amazing baby. He tries to say things I say now, too. He dropped something and I said "uh-oh!" and he did it right back at me! He knows how to wave hi. It's indescribable how smart he is.
Work is getting better & better. I banked this past weekend. If it keeps up this way, I should have $20,000 saved in no time. I have to work tomorrow & Saturday. Hopefully it will be good. I'm also thinking of investing in opening and IRA account. If I deposit $400 a month into it, by the time I'm 45 I'll have $1,200,000 in the bank. Sounds good to me!
The past year flew by for me, with work and the baby and planning for the future. It's really helped a lot. We have four months left in our home. My mom was nice enough to lower the rent for us so we can save more money. I am so excited for the future!
