The California Supreme Court ruled in favor of same-sex marriage (press release at link)!
Fucking A, everyone who is fretting and analyzing how this might hurt us in November, stop for a moment. Just throw up your hands and dance for a while! And if you're having trouble doing that, read this (hat tip: fennel) and smile.
Perhaps when I move back to California, I will not be leaving the only state where I can marry anyone I choose. (Not that I even want to get married, or entirely approve of this whole marriage thing in general, but -- NO! Shut up and dance! This is AWESOME! Okay, dancing! YAY!)
