Work today was interesting...
I was up at the loading dock today at work and i was talking to some of the lads, and they asked me if i knew what was going on, i was like 'huh?' and robbie was tellin me how the whole of the 3rd floor had been evacuated because there was a bomb scare, yes thats right a freakin bomb scare! i was like omg, so i ran back down to my department and went to ask Heather WTF was goin on, but she knew nothing about it, so she was like 'Will you run up and see whats going on?' so i was all 'yeh yeh, no problem' so off i go up the escalators, until i got bout half way up and i realised 'wait a minute, im heading up into the direction of the supposed bomb? am i actually losing my mind?' obviously i am because i was just like 'meh, ill go have a look see, if its my time, its my time!' hehe, so i got up 2 the 3rd floor, and it was completley deserted, and i saw like all the big bosses just standing around this one till, so i was like 'oh fuck, im out of here!' so i just ran back down and carried on with work. But at the end of the day we found out from our manager that somebody had spotted loads of wires coming out of this kids toy, so they phoned security, and then the police, and they thought it might of been a bomb, so obviously they had to evacuate the floor and so on, but the good news is that it wasn't a bomb, just some malfucnction on the toy that made it look like a bomb coz it shouldn't have had wires or something like that. it was all on the local news and apparantly the bomb squad was there and stuff, i didnt even know newcastle had a bomb squad! So to end, its good news people, im still alive after my near death experince! hehe!
