(no subject)
Well folks, only three more days until I'm back in Funcie for awhile. I'm looking forward to a change of scenery, and even more so to the fabulous three day vacation where I won't have any obligations (other than completing my criminal background check for Student Teaching). I so need a vacation. I booked a hotel room for Leslie and B and I to go to King's Island. Woohoo...hopefully we'll get some other people to join us. How fun will that be? Even with just B and Leslie, I'm sure I'll have fun! I love rollercoasters!
Odd event of the day....I went to the Doctor to get allergy meds (I love weeds) and SOMEHOW we got on the subject of drinking....goodness only knows. Apparently, since both of my grandfathers were alcoholics, I have a 1 in 4 chance of being one myself. Fantastic. Anyway...the odd part of this story was the stories Dr. Joe was telling my mom and I about being drunk down at Ball State and puking all over himself. Nothing like trading drinking stories with your family physician. It was interesting. No wonder it takes forever in the Dr.'s office...he's telling booze stories. Weird.
Also read in a magazine that you should try to have your last caffinated drink before noon so the effects will wear off by 10 pm, just in time for bed. Honestly, who can make it past noon without caffeine? Not me. I'm drinking coffee as I sit here and type. I tried, really....and I failed (although no miserably, because I quite enjoy this Carmel Macchiato :-P). Thats it people...
