Wow, how time flies! It feels like yesterday when I got home from India. Seriously, jeez!

I've managed to get a job in Soho (NYC, USA) for those non-American peeps reading this... wait, maybe it's just me who still reads and writes in here. Hehehe, oh well. Sometimes it feels good to just write, ya know? So anyway. I like the place. The people are super chill, it's just a bummer how many hours it is. Although, I have off about two weeks before starting back around NOV. 11th/12th... who knows when I'll go in! I really hope I can find something where I can atleast have weekends to myself. I'm not asking for much... okay, I am asking for a lot from the city that never sleeps... but seriously people, the video footage will be there tomorrow, let's go frolock in the park! I wanna play frisbee with my puppy, or lay in my hammock, or... okay, so it's cold... I've been working so much I hardly had a moment to appreciate the leaves changing color. That happens to be a highlight of my year... which is soon followed by the bitter cold that leaves me by the fireplace or reading a book under MANY covers in my bed. Okay, enough rambling...

Anugraha John was here for almost two weeks... He was my big brother in India, and he and Taylor happen to be two of my bestest friends! John (sorta like Ghandi... not sure I'll ever get completely used to calling him by his last name) stayed for my birthday (Nov.1st) even! Hehe! It was SOOO fun to hang with him and Taylor... The threesome of TROUBLE was back at it; except I didn't end up on the top of a fence shaking and scared to get down! But we did meet Mary McBride one day near the NYU area and she showed us around and bought us YUMMY dinner!

Halloween was interesting... I dressed up as Penelope from "The Amanda Show"... that's her "biggest fan" for those of you who didn't watch the show. Last year I was "Miss Swan" from SNL... and NO ONE knew who I was then either!!! This is not because my costumes sucked people, this is because NOT enough people dress as comedians for Halloween... what gives! HAHA! I'm gonna have to think looong and hard about another comedian to dress up as next year, that NO ONE will know! This is tough, I can't dress as Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Ellen Degeneres... or ANY Comedian people MIGHT recognize. That would ruin the fun I have of saying... "You've NEVER heard of THEM! Jeez, do you live in a paper bag?!?" HOLY CRAP... maybe next year I'll dress as Eddie Izzard. Ugly Transvestite who is fucking HILARIOUS! DEF. a possibility!

So anyway. Yes, I still miss India. I even broke down and bought some "Indian" food in NYC... it wasn't so bad, and it was only a block or two from the Post-Factory (aka where I work)! But they ran out of Samosas... how does that happen! So anyway, I came back to the Post Factory, sat in the kitchen, and ate the food with my hands. A few people walked by and looked at me like I was weird... but, wait til I open my restaurant! No silverware for anyone! Mwahahahaha! Okay, enough evil laughter... I miss cooking... baking really. I miss people eating my food in India and telling me how wonderful it was! My parents don't even know I cook... I think if someone told my mom that I CAN cook and I LIKE to cook, she'd think it was some horrible joke!

Sidenote: I stayed with a professor I knew in college for a few weeks. She was pretty cool about me crashing on her couch, and it BEAT the horrible commute from South Jersey to NYC for work. I start back up at the Post-Factory on the 11th or 12th, but I don't think I can ask that same Prof. to let me stay there again... I don't want to overstay my welcome. Besides, I really wish I could find something in Brooklyn... I've been looking... guess maybe I need to get more serious about it and just find a place already. I guess I'm afraid of commiting to a lease when I might get my dream job of traveling the world, or marry a rich man who wants to sweep me off to go backpacking across the world! Okay, a girl can dream can't she!!!
