Happy Birthday to me!
So I am finally 21! I had such a great birthday, I'm really thankful for all of the people who made my day great.
I started my birthday off (midnight) with someone I would never have expected that I would be spending it with, even though I have spent the last at least 4 birthdays with him. I can't say it was the easiest start to my big day (since the thought of even looking Casey in the face has made me sick to my stomach for the last 6 months or so) but it was definately fitting. After almost no sleep I work up on my birthday morning and headed to work. While there, my co-workers gave me a card and Krista sent me flowers!!! I took an exam at school and ran a few errands and met up with Marybeth at the Ale House and had my first official drinks as a 21 year old! At 7:30, I met up with some friends at Friday's and the real drinking began (the final tally was 8 shots, 4 jack and diets, and a beer for the night). Good news is that not only did I walk out of the bar of my own volition, but I didn't get sick at all. Who knew I could hold my liquor so well? Anyway, the shock of this momentus occasion finally ariving has not worn off yet and the festivities will continue when I go home this weekend!
