This is my second story for the DE Christmas Story Exchange over at TVDmixing community, hosted by junkyatbest, filling the prompt by vanagonne:

I'm a fan of the relationship between all three: Damon/Elena/Stefan. I love the relationship between brothers (as brothers, not incestual but that love and bond we see in the show every so often). I do lean more towards

This was JUST what I had in mind! Loved the detail and angst in the first part and how you took your time with it. My heart fluttered at the part where Elena catches Damon REALLY smiling at Stefan and her reflection on that. Was all smiles during the Twister bit. I didn't want it to end. Thank you so very much, easily one of my favorite fics now. :)

I'm so glad you liked it! This was a good prompt, and I really enjoyed writing it. I love the Defan relationship, and I really wish we could see more of it on the show, and I really really wish we could have had more of the idea that Damon would be the one to save Stefan from himself back in season 3, but alas, they went a different way. Still firmly on Team Defan though, tbh.
