Thirsty by day

Weird. Wow.
It’s so
Difficult to even describe
That has to be the best it’s been in months
That was my best ever
I never wanted it to end.
I thought it never would.
I wish it hadn’t, but the climax
You were so beautiful.
You are beautiful.
What time is it?
It’s 7. Almost sunrise.
Really? I think I’ll just have a snack.

Hey, Malachi! Give me a hug!
Hey Babes.
How are you?
Good, I missed you so much.
It’s been what, two years, since we’ve seen each other?
More like six.
Any new guys in your life?
They come and go
Come and go?
Yeah, you know, nothing’s changed.
As usual
Talk to mom at all?
God no. You?
No.

Malachi, I have to tell you something.
What is it, Andrea?
That was the best I ever had.
Really.
I’m not kidding, I’m really not
I believe you.
It was better than the first time even?
Really.
I mean, I guess the first time isn’t supposed to be all that great anyway
No it really isn’t
It’s just that whole nostalgia thing, you know?
Yeah, I know
So Malachi?
Yeah what?
Do you want to tell all our friends or do you want me to tell them?
Tell them what?
That we’re together.
Fuck.
Fuck? What’s wrong?
It’s time for breakfast.

I heard from my sister the other day. Did you know I have a sister?
No, I didn’t
She’s still in Russia
Oh
Do you have any siblings?
I have a brother.
And are you close to him?
Yes, very close.
Does he protect you like a brother should?
Oh, no, my brother and I barely see each other anymore.
Do you still live with your parents?
No, we both moved out when we were eighteen.
Really, why?
Conflicts of interest.
And what were those interests?
Oh, stupid things.
There most have been something specific.
No there wasn’t.
You can’t have made such a big move without some kind of reason.
Actually there was, it was food.
Food?
Yes, food. My brother and I were very hungry because our parents never kept food in the house.
So you moved out.
Well, that wasn’t really the reason that we moved out.
Then what was the reason?
Our father.
What did he do?
Nothing really. Screamed a little. Actually I should say it was Mom. She was very angry.
Why was she angry?
I don’t know, I don’t think she could really blame us for being hungry, could she?
I guess not.
God, I’m starving. I’m going to have a bite to eat. Do you mind?

Hey, favorite sister,
What do you want, Malachi?
I’m starving.
Go get someone to eat.
I don’t feel like it tonight.
Well don’t look at me.
Do you want to go visit Mom?
Yeah, let’s see if she’s been working out lately.
