I think that line would be more correctly rendered as follows, "But I am glad that someone in my family shared his values at least, even if I did not."
It seems like I completely failed at conveying the subtext here though because no one's really commented on it. At least it works without it though, I guess.
I love the irony just dripping off that last piece of dialogue--beautiful. And it's always nice to see different takes on Itachi and Mikoto's relationship--their interaction is probably my favorite out of everything, so I'm always ecstatic when people write for them!

I think this is probably post-massacre but Itachi doesn't fully realise it until her last line.
