Dream Drop Distance (A few opinions.)

I'm actually really, really, really happy that the one who made the Mark of Mastery exam was Riku. Granted, Sora is a great Keyblade Wielder, no doubt about it, but if you played throughout the entire series and see what kind of shit Riku has gone through, gaining the "Master" title is quite the feat. He was a victim to darkness, worked on overcoming it, and throughout it all still had the power sleeping within his heart. He grew so much stronger throughout the games and his dire need to rescue Sora in the very end of 3D is what won him the title. I honestly didn't expect it since I thought Sora would get it. Well, I guess it's because he seems to get most of the "fame/attention" in the other games. Well, Sora or anybody related to him (Roxas, Ventus, Xion--). Still, shout out to Riku for passing the exam.

Next on my list is Riku's haircut. When I started the game, I remember my first question being "why the fuck did he cut it?" and so I wasn't fond of it at first. I wasn't able to grow accustomed to it either seeing how in majority of the game, Riku is appearing as his younger self (granted, with his hair cut short). It was only in certain scenes, like the ones when in Dark City/The World That Never Was when you saw him as his current form, which I believe the age would be around seventeen, and in his Kingdom Hearts II outfit. After seeing those scenes, as well as the end of the game, it grew on me. Very fast. I can't help myself, seeing him with short hair is quite attractive and it does make him seem a bit older...

Alright, something else that I don't understand that I wish there was more story behind, is the fact that Riku is a Dream Eater as well? Well, I shouldn't say "is", but I guess he was considered because of the fact that he could fuse with a single one, or two through a dream link, and use their abilities (which is pretty kick ass).

Last but not least is Axel. Well, Lea. I should continue to call him Lea since in the beginning of the game we come to learn that he's gained his heart. That gave me immense feels. Especially since Xaldin, Vexen, Lexaeus, and Zexion has gained their heart as well. So what, that's five that returned to being human? Sans Roxas, of course. Anyways, as for Lea... He scores a keyblade? Really? I like him with his Chakram weapons, but... how did he manage to get a Keyblade? I really wish it explained further into that since he just said that he wanted to visit Yen Sid to become a Keyblade Master and bam, he accidently summons a keyblade? Wtf.

Okay, I think that's all.
