DMMd: Possible Spoilers
So I have delved into a new fandom, which I've mentioned a year or so ago in a previous entry, DRAMAtical Murder.
I was on a giant hiatus with it but said hiatus stopped when I discovered there was a translation project on aarinfantasy so I stalked that thread and installed the patch when it finished. I care less that I replayed the routes I had already played, because dammit it was worth it. I was finally playing the game and took time in to read the plot. So before I used the patch, it was just the porn/CGs, but now it was plot and basically the entire game in itself. Which is a giant fucking mindfuck. I won't lie. I cried a bit for each route. I think Ren's route and Clear's route are the main ones I cried over. Mainly Ren's. I cried and cried and cried till I gave myself a headache. Good endings are wonderful though 'cause they give you feels.
Granted, bad endings are supposed to be bad but I can't fricken' help myself if there are amazing ones. I don't care if a few are gore or what not, Nitro+'s art is the only gore I can actually stand. U_u
Re:Connect, DMMd's technical sequel (it's just a continuation of the endings, to show you what happened afterward, so there really isn't much gameplay), is also quite wonderful but I wonder how long it'll take for the patch to come out. I flipped my shit when I managed to install it without a problem, but when going through everything, I came to realize that it'll take a long while since there is a lot of things other than game text to translate. Like the mini-game and extra stuff!
The menu screen is kinda weird too. It looks like a game, which is cool for the most part. Took a while to understand it though but its whatever. Each color square warphole thing represents a color and as you can see, me being the little impatient fuck I am, played a few already. I told myself I'd stop but I just can't HELP it. The character sprite only appears when you've played both the good and bad ending, though Virus & Trip really only had one ending. I've started Koujaku's by playing his bad ending since his bad ending was fucking gorgeous.
Yet again, I had feels for Ren's endings and Clear's endings but that's to be expected. I have a biiiig feeling that more feels/sads will come up when the patch comes out. Hopefully I can calm myself and not play anymore until that moment arrives... but... it's DMMd!
Seeing as how I beat DDMd... I'm not sure what to do anymore. I mean, it's one of my top fandoms right now and knowing that it's complete just... UJGL:KJDF:K. Imma see if I can work on my story a bit more since ReConnect kind of helped me with the beginning already. ;) Well, of what my minute level of Japanese could understand... fun.
