A broken heart
Clinging to the pieces he left behind
When he tore my entire soul apart
And left my eyes so blind

Its time for me to move on

I look away
And see a beautiful boy
With hair a halo so dark,
And flesh so deathly cold

Sitting alone in the corner,
He looks to me for just a moment;
And I can stare into his eyes…
All I see is sadness and pain

So lost in this pain of mine
I see only the echo of heartbreak
The affirmations of a world of sin
And the sweet despair we dwell in

Sitting alone in his darkness
He turns back to his drink
I fear the despair he may bring
To me in my sorrow and anguish

So lost in this pain of mine
