I finished Falling Angels
And now I'm all sad and thoughtfull. Its so sad at the end, cept like the very end which is suposed to be uplifting but the mood was still somber.
I love how Tracy Chevalier ties in everything. The cemetary was a huge part of the book, and how Livy and Maudes family graves were right next to each other, as was their houses. I love how in the end Maude is becoming more and more like her mom, all mature, wearing a corset and getting her "courses" first, and wanting to go to a University. Also, it seemed much more like Maude and Ivy May were like sisters, they were much more alike. I think Simon and Maude would end up marrying. Overall, very very good book. God I love Tracy Chevalier. I hated historical fiction before I read her books, now I can't get enough. She's the author of A Girl with a Pearl Earring, btw. I still need to see that movie...
