Our little kitty has been given a probable (since it can't really be certain) diagnosis of an almost-always fatal disease.  We're really broken up about it: he's a young cat (less than two years) and we've only had him since September, which is just enough time to get really fucking attached but not enough to feel like we've had anything approaching a decent amount of time with him.

He's not giving up and we're not giving up on him.  But it's a pretty mysterious condition with no real treatment and the prognosis isn't good.
