Chris called me while I was still at work to let me know that I had received a package in the mail.

"It's purple, and it says 'congratulations' on it."

After a few seconds of bewilderment, it hit me.  The acceptance letter.

I've never cried tears of joy before, but I did. For like ten minutes. And periodically through the rest of the afternoon.
