why is it that it's so hard to get things done in this world?! to take one step forward, you're forced to take two steps back. compassion and understanding are thrown out the window and are replaced by robotic rule enforcers.

i need to get my car inspected. badly. when it was inspected a year ago, i just had to make an appointment and go there. when i try to do the same thing this year, i now need my registration.
which wouldnt be a problem.
EXCEPT i dont have my friggen registration. being the organized genious i am (hah!) i've lost it. i've sent in a request for a duplicate one, but that's going to take days. because we honestly know that once a government place receives mail, they don't get on it right away.
*i should interject real quick here that my car hasn't been inspected since 05/04*
i've had 72 hours to get my car inspected. so now that i've got tires, replaced my mirror, got everything done, i'm shut down at the last final freaking step!!!
