Phillies Games with children that you are responsible for = not too much fun and a little scary

So, yea, today ADC went to good ole Veteran's stadium to see the Phils play the Mets. It was dollar dog day and the weather was passable when it was breezy. However, going to Phillies games with children that you are responsible for is kinda scary as I realized today. I had a group of six generally well behaved girls. They're good kids, honestly, but they must have asked me every inning to either go to the bathroom or purchase some sort of snack. So, on the way back from one of our many bathroom breaks our little group got separated because we had to move out of the way of allmighty Philly Phanatic on his little bike thingee. Now, don't get me wrong, I love the Phanatic, but today I HATED HIM because him and his possee separated me from 2 girls in my group! I had to fight my way around them and in the process one of the stadium workers pushed into me and spilled my drink on me. Grrr...But anyways, aside from my constant fear of losing campers and the fact that the Phillies lost it was a pretty enjoyable day.

What's really keeping me going through this week are thoughts of this weekend. I can not wait! I am road tripping up to Cape Cod with six of my friends from school to visit our other friend who is lifeguarding up there all summer. We will be departing early Friday morning and it should be quite an adventure. I'm so happy that our group will be back together again for some good times. On the way back down from Cape Cod, we'll be crashing at my friend Elyse's house who happens to live one town over from a certain boy, who I have tentative breakfast plans with. I think no matter what happens, seeing him will be good. Maybe seeing him will help me get my mind off of him, if that makes any sense. I tend to build people up in my head when I have not seen them for awhile and actually seeing him in person after several months of just phone and aim will bring me back to reality.

Something like 28 days til I go back to school. Not like I'm counting, but, well...I AM! But seriously, I am enjoying my time at home for the most part and all the old King of Prussia chums. Time for some R and R...
