Also, I saw Jesus today, walking up 23rd Street. No segway scooter, no bike, no shoes even. I thought about giving him a lift, but he was going in the opposite direction and was about to get to a church anyway. Maybe I should have given him my shoes.... I wondered why, in this day and age, Jesus didn't have some wheels. Then I realized: even Christ can't deal with the asshat-drivers around here.
No, honestly, I did see a guy dressed like Jesus. I have no idea what he was doing. Near as I can figure, the Pentacostal church he was walking toward is doing and extended Passion play this year. Any other theories?
