Summary:
Changmin:
They’re touching whenever he sees them together. Changmin tries not to stare; to look away or seem unaffected, but when Jaejoong’s arm snakes around Yoochun’s waist or is draped around his shoulders, Changmin can’t help but clench his jaw and harden his stare. He hates how Jaejoong can so easily hold Yoochun’s hand as they share secrets. He hates how the two men share knowing looks in the middle of love songs; voices melting together. Yoochun whispers I love you into Changmin’s ear whenever he can, but Jaejoong doesn’t seem to notice (or care) and whisks Yoochun away. Changmin hates how Yoochun lets him the most.
JaeJoong:
He has always loved Yoochun. He knew it since the first time Yoochun smiled at him with crinkling eyes and full cheeks. He’s not sure when Yoochun started loving Changmin but he pretends he doesn’t know. Jaejoong is finding it easy to ignore the looks Changmin sends him when Yoochun is in his arms, if only for a little while. It’s not that he likes angering his bandmate, but he steals whatever little time that he can with Yoochun. He has always known what Yoochun has needed, so Jaejoong will just wait until Yoochun is ready to be with him, completely, even though it’s killing him.
Yoochun:
Yoochun is loved. Love is the most precious of all the riches on earth and he knows this. He considered himself lucky for having a dedicated boyfriend and a dependable best friend; until he noticed the changes. Changmin has gotten more quiet and distant, his kisses end short. Jaejoong has gotten more dependent and clingy, only spending time with him. Yoochun feels the tension when the three of them are together, competing for his attention, and it’s not hard to figure out what’s happening. He knows that the day when he’ll have to choose is fast approaching and it is going to hurt him the most.
