Disney World rocks my....umm....world....yup :p
--yay ok so this past week I was in Orlando! Weather most of the time: 95+ and sunny...much better than being 55 and drizzling! (i.e. NJ)
when we got back, it was funny because you could tell you were no longer in the south.
-in FL, they take their time; they are polite...as in "yes ma'am" etc.
-in newark airport, some lady told my mom, (granted, in a joking manner) "I told you don't f*** with me" um...riiiiight hello to you too! hehe ANYWAY, I did miss home too, so its good to be back...
I will break it down for you like so:
5/29 Saturday:
Got into FL and to the condo we were staying at about 10:30 at night, so we just went to sleep. EXCITING! :)
5/30 Sunday:
MGM Studios for half the day, then the Magic Kingdom for the other half. Highlights of the day: Aerosmith's Rock 'n Roller Coaster in MGM, First ride on the Carousel of Progress in MK.... weeeeeeeee
5/31 Monday:
Animal Kingdom. Hottest day EVER! sweat dripped into my eyes and stung them :( BUT I took a picture with King Louie! (the orangutan from the Jungle Book) AND I saw real live monkeys and, of course, took pictures of them! I want a pet monkey very bad...however, something that flings poop is probably not the best animal to have as a pet. So highlights here: Dinosaur, seeing real monkeys and "It's Tough to Be a Bug"...so cute.
6/1 Tuesday:
Grand Floridian for BREAKFAST WITH MARY POPPINS! I saw Mary P. here and took pictures with her! I was very happy because you cannot find her anywhere in the parks (usually).
Epcot: Epcot is more lame than I remembered. However Mission: Space is a cool ride
6/2 Wed and 6/3 Thurs:
Lay out by the pool, cause walking around for 3 days in a row in scortching heat is tiring! : )
6/4 Fri:
Magic Kingdom by day, MGM by night. Another ride on the Carousel of Progress (yay) and then Fantasmic! at night...awesome day...
Then the rest of the trip we mostly shopped and such, went to Downtown Disney, I saw Shrek 2, bada bing, bada boom...
--So I got home today around 2ish...took a nap ...ate dinner, then went to see Harry Potter w/ JB. I never saw or read any of the HP movies or books before, so I got a briefing in the car on it ;) It was a really good movie, especially for me not exactly knowing the existing storyline (I did know, however, that Harry has an invisible cloak, elves are like pets/slaves, and Harry at one point had no bones in his one arm--so I knew the important things!) hahah
--I still haven't heard from Comcast about the job, so hopefully this week I will see if I am employed or need to keep looking for a job. At this point, I really think that I have a 50/50 shot at it...so we'll see!
--So, an excellent week so far, and hopefully many more to come!
