hey!
HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS!!!! Woah, so it is 2005 aleady, craziness! Why is it that every year seems to go by faster than the one before? Anyway, I hope that everyone is having (or had) a great Christmas break. I spent Christmas in Arizona visiting fam, it was different to be somewhere other than home for Christmas, but was a great place to visit. Besides getting to see part of my family we also visited the Grand Canyon and Sedona....both were just beautiful! We explored the Canyon on our own and also went on an organized tour. I would love to go back there and do the hike down into the Canyon. We couldn't do it this time because you really have to plan your trip around it because you cannot hike down and back in one day, it is VERY difficult. You would have to hike down in a day and stay at the ranch that is located down in the canyon, and then hike back up the next day...so yes that is added to my list of many life long goals :) Anyway, after Arizona I went up to MSU for New Years with Dave and some other crazy foo's, which was fun as well. After New Years we went to Canton to watch the Rosebowl, which was a great game on both accounts btw, and then we went out to dinner and I returned to Troy. I spent today with mom and Jana, we went out to lunch at Panera and did a little shopping...I got a sweater and a cute purse! I have been thinking about what I need to change in my life for this New Year, and really while one does not need a "new year" to make changes it is a good starting place. I could work on being more patient with people....I think I will make that a focus, along with spiritual growth and working out more often as well...I am always on this irregular-work out sometimes- kinda deal and it doesn't work so much. So I suppose my goals are...better serving those around me (and being more patient), spritual growth, and to work out regularly. If you get a sec, reflect on the past year and see what changes you could make to improve the next year starting with today! Anyway, I also realized how blessed I am to have the awesome parents and sister that I do. I am also so blessed to have Dave in my life.....I love you guys!
