I Have the Oddest Kids...

I had a weird conversation with Catharine.
First of all, last week, Bramwell was away at Scout camp. He got back on Friday. So, Tuesday, we found a tick on his back. (Disgusting, but information you need for this story.) Yesterday, Bram woke up yarking all over his bed, floor, closet. etc. (He might be 12, but the idea of vomiting in the toilet eludes him.)

I sent him to the shower and Samuel and I proceeded to clean up the mess. Cat comes in and says, "I think he's sick because of the tick. I think he has Lyme disease."

And I’m telling her, no, he’s just ill.

So, she comes back about 5 minutes later with this book and says, “He was at camp. He could have been bitten by a mosquito. I think he has Malaria.”

“No,” I say. “He’s not been to Africa, so I don’t think it’s Malaria.”

“West Nile Virus?”

“Cat!”

"It's in my book!"

Three minutes later…

“E. Coli?”

“Cat!!”

“Gesh! I’m just trying to help!”

You've got to love kids. :)
