He's five and a half and he's brilliant:
My students were making human sculptures out of each other and telling us what their sculptures were. Most kids said things like, "He's throwing a ball," "It's a bird" or "Its a statue of someone running." Then we get to Jacob who says:
It's a monarch butterfly,
migrating to Bora Bora,
because it can only live
in tropical places,
and somehow,
it knows that
Seriously, there are moments when my job is truly magical.
