my livejournal has been neglected. mostly because i spelled my username wrong. it should be laurasaurusrex. whatever. i'm going to use it more often as a creative outlet. mostly  because none of my friends read it.

the silence echoed off the walls the night we said goodbye
it replayed it's self inside my ears the night we said we'd try
we sure tried
but the silence knocked us down
and we fell into this habit
speaking not and knowing not
and letting silence have it
but a voice becomes my enemy
when truth lies deep within
i know you can't admit it
but it's just not how it's been
we threw away a lifetime when we threw away those keys
and just like that the silence breaks
but we still don't know a thing
