I didn't have a really great valentines day. Whit and I decided we weren't going to buy things for each other (you know, stuffed animals, jewlery, present-kind-of-things). I made him a home-made valentine with a poem on it, and I figured that was ok b/c I didn't spend $$ on it. And I thought, y'know, with Whit being such a super date-planner and surprise-giver he'd surprise me with something great that he didn't purchase, or go ahead and buy something tiny like a chocolate bar or a single flower. Maybe even a card. I guess I over estimated him. We went out to dinner... at a place where we had a coupon... and then we watched a movie. I got chocolates from a student at school, and a carnation from other.
