Caleb's Saying

Jul 21, 2005 15:12

Caleb is trying very hard to speak in sentences with his limited vocabulary. At times, he will pause for a while, we can tell that he's actually thinking of the word to describe/convey his message before he talks out. Although, it's not a complete sentence, we roughly can guess what he wants to tell us. Inspired by Priscilla's posting of Ezra's conversation, I'm determind to note down Caleb's saying too. Here's the very 1st entry.

This morning, Caleb still refused to wake up, lazing on the bed.
L : Kai Kai, time to wake up, Mummy and Daddy need to 作工 (zuo gong meaning work in chinese)
C : *in his lazy manner* NOooo!
L : then, kai kai 作工?
C : Noooo!
L : Then who 作工?
C : *pause, thinking very hard* 奶妈妈作工! (his nanny go to work!)
Poon and I broke into laughter, Caleb didn't want us to work, neither he wants to work, best is Nanny goes to work, so Caleb can stay at home with us!
