Home for Christmas....

Day 1: Went Christmas Shopping all morning long!! We scaled the Wolfchaise Gallery, Left to Right and Top to Bottom. We didn't go into every store...but we made it to probably 2/3 of them. And, surprisingly enough, I got pretty much nowhere. We ran into Lindsey Grable, Clarissa Vaughn, and Lauren Minton there. Wierd!! They were just taking a day to go shopping in Memphis, check out a new atmosphere, and drove 2 and half hours to do it! I also saw a few of my favorite former junior high cheerleaders including Meagan my "little sister". That was fun :)

Later we went to my Grandmother's house to help her decorate for Christmas. She only wanted us to do her tree, but we didn't want to stop there. We pulled every last bit of Christmas decor out of the boxes and found SOMEWHERE to put it. She's so freaking hilarious. I put these two wreaths up on this platform, knowing it was tacky as hell, but I underestimated her in thinking that she would love it anyways. She slowly edged her way in the room, peeked around the door, and laughed. She said that was the tackiest thing she had ever seen. My Grandma has great taste, even at the age of 80. She pulled the "girls, if there are any of these decorations you want to have after I pass, I want you to start thinking about it now so we can put your name on them in the next couple of years" card. You all probably know my feelings on that note, so I'm not gonna say anything further.

I'm having trouble finding the Christmas Spirit this year. I do believe it is there. I'm doing everything I can to focus on the giving and family part of it, and I am more than looking foward to Christmas day. I get to watch Keydon open presents for the first time!! I can't wait!

Didn't go to bed till like 2AM. Reasons Avoidable....and scene....

Did I mention Hollister's is my new favorite store??

5 days of Christmas with Mother started last night with watching "White Christmas". It is such a good movie! Bing Crosby is hot, and Rosemary Clooney has a really cool voice.

Day 2: MORE SHOPPING! But I'm done!! We visited a few more stores in Wolfchaise (GAP, Eddie Bauer, Gymboree, Victoria's Secret, and New York and Company), had La La Ree Ree time at Chilis for lunch, and hit Bed Bath and Beyond, Old Navy, Sports Authority, Stein Mart, and Target. I'm so glad I'm done. Tommorrow, I'm not gonna do anything but wrap my gifts.

Day 2 of Five Days of Christmas with Mother included decorating the front of the house with lights. Good times, and cold asses. The house looks so nice though!!

I think Trey is coming to Marion tommorrow! I hope we get to hang out....chances are we won't get iced in again.
