Long Overdue Update
Well, despite all the confusion I have been encountering for the past...long time...I think my life is panning out the way it should be.
Classes are going ok. I kinda hate them, but then again I don't. I guess I hate more the fact of having to go. I miss the summer already.
Today I've been VERY productive and I'm very proud of myself. I even got a nap in. I don't really know if I'm just not sleeping enough at night, or I'm trying to catch up on sleep, because when I nap it takes me forever to get tired at night. Like now, I'm wired.
Auditions for symphonic band were today. Bleh. I don't think there's much of anything I loathe more than audtions. It's such a negative matter. People competing to see who's better. Then again, maybe if I was better than everyone It wouldn't be so negative to me. It's ok. The first of the year has kinda sucked so practicing has NOT been on the top of my to do list. I even cancelled my first lesson because I wasn't ready. I don't really care so much about this audition as I do the spring auditions. I don't want to be in concert band again, but these incoming freshmen are hard core! I'm happy with Symphonic band. I'm not worried about being the best, I just want to get through school on my flute.
After auditions i went to get Jason and he came to Old Navy with me to talk to them about working again. I had to fill out all that paperwork shit all over again. I'm ready to start working though. I'm only available Sundays and will hopefully be closing so I can fulfill my cash handling responsibilities. I got some precious PJ pants. Velour Zebra Striped. I've always wanted a pair of zebra striped pants!!
I'm getting paid $15 bucks an hour for CHS. Heck yeah! I'm making 30 bucks a week, and that's freaking awesome. Thank God for this job! The girls are great. I love them. They're good spinners, but they're obviously kind of having a hard time formatting from Shaleah's style to my style. However, they pick up fast. I'm having a blast with them! You all have to come to a game with me sometime!!
I started back on my exercise program. I ran from the apartment, to the track, ran three laps on the track, and then ran back to the apartment. It was nice. I had a lot of time to think. About things. So many things to think about....
