Let me first explain that I didn't take very many pics. OK I took 4! I don't know anybody who goes to Goth Prom (except for us and
eatstoomuchjam (who is never on LJ anymore, shame!)), so I didn't take pictures of the people I didn't know, which was everybody else. However, there are pictures up
here and
here if yer wantin' to see what everyone else looked like!
Here is
kitlizzy who accompanied me to the prom!
Here's me looking kind of disturbingly like Ray, if Ray was to put on a lot of lace, jewelry and red lipstick. OK, there's a mental image I didn't need!
And here's
eatstoomuchjam and his girl friend Trinity. He says his pants were actually black, but the flash on one of the textures made them show up white in the pic. His shirt was awesome.
In other, more recent news, Peanut's party was good. Not too many people came but that was ok, and he didn't get too many toys, which is even better! I've been eating a steady diet of sloppy joes, cause that's what Greg made. Mmmmmm. Sloppy joes...
My neice M stayed at my house Saturday night. I now realize how lucky I am that my children are boys. I think having a 13-year-old girl in the house has cured me of any notions I might have had about trying again for a girl! o.0 Next time I think I might want one, I have only to invite M over to hear her go on, nonstop, about every detail of every conversation she's had in the last 6 months with every friend, including texts, IM's, and chats on social networking sites. Don't get me wrong - I love M! She just can get slightly annoying... slightly...
Oh, and I might do the art & wine walk again this weekend! If I do it will be at Porpoura Coffee House in Grand Forks. Just don't ask me how the hell I'm going to get my ass ready for that! :O
And last but not least, I am still fighting a stupid cold! I haven't been sick like this for this long since 1997! This year has been a lot like '97, what with the Red River doing it's floody thing again and all. And me being sick. The good news is that the winter of '97-'98 was the warmest winter EVER, with temps in the 40's and 50's in JANUARY! I hope that happens again. That was awesome!
