I have a lot of pictures of the TB ward. I thought about splitting them up into 2 posts, but I couldn't think of a way to split them where it would come out close to even. So did TB places actually cure people, or was it just a warehouse to keep you out of the general population until you died?

Both. First they were just warehouses to keep you out of the general population until you died, and then they discovered antibiotics, at which point they were places you'd go to get cured. That phase was rather short-lived I think (cause maybe people realized you could take your antibiotics at home just fine). Then they all closed or became something else.
