Richard Leigh (co-author of Holy Blood Holy Grail) dead at 64. Must be going around. What's that, 3 dead famous people just today?
I have a picture of a gnarly orb y'all just HAVE to see, but I'm going to keep you waiting, since most of you only read this thing during the week. You heard me right. An orb. You seriously have to see this thing! I just made a new tag, "orbs." You never thought you'd see that on my journal, did you?
And from the same place the orb came from, I have lots new (to you!) pictures of the Argusville School! I finally got the CD of the pictures Bethany took. I say this all the time, but seriously, I really love having someone else to explore with, because of the different things they notice and focus on; things I otherwise missed in my excitement about something else that caught my eye. So soon you will all see Argusville School as seen through Bethany's eyes! With just a little Photoshop intervention on my part. In spite of her copious use of flash, for some reason most of her pictures were blurry, but most weren't so blurry I couldn't give them a little shot of unsharp mask. Her camera must have issues focusing.
Ray Meister is driving down here tonight so he won't get caught in the storm. He really wants that stupid painting of Hawaii!
I wasn't gonna go to Dick Blick today, I really wasn't... but- I was in the neighborhood! And O.M.G. they have a new kind of water-mixable oil paints there, with WAAAAAYY more colors, and though they're lots more 'spensive than the Grumbacher, they're supposedly top of the line. They're "Holbein" which I have never used before, even in the non-water-mixable variety. So *sqeeeeeee* I only bought two tubes of it, and 3 of the Grum. Just to test it out.
You understand.
