Sarles School Part 9 - The Room, 2nd Floor

Sep 11, 2007 11:36

"The Room." Southeast corner, 2nd floor. This is some of the worst water damage. Some of the moss up here was still green.

Oh, the texture! This one won in the painting-I-should-do-next poll. I don't know if I'm ready for it though. I want to whip something out. This has some of the most heavy texture I've ever seen! It will really look nice if I do paint it, though...

The cloak room. The wall on the right is the other side of the green wall I posted yesterday.

This picture would have been great if it had been in focus! But you can really see the wavy, broken, fuzzy, rotted floorboards here.

This was the only room that still had desks and stuff in it. I suspect nobody wanted to walk across that soft, fuzzy floor to get them.

I love the pattern of decay on the wall! Like an upside-down fountain!

Well I hope y'all have enjoyed the Sarles School! Don't cry just yet though, because next is the Haunted Farmhouse.... OoooOOooooOoo... :P

*edit* I just got a *free* cup of tire-free tea from Caribou! Yay! The lady probably thought I was insane when I asked to smell the cup. I mean, if I'd wanted rubber in my tea yesterday, I would have asked for it! "I'd like a hot cup of Irish Breakfast, and could you put a couple shots of rubber in there? Mmmmm... rubber..." Do they have shots of rubber? Hmmmmm...

school, sarles
