beautiful
like the music
of autumn wind
breathing gold waves
across fields of wheat

Inspired by how I had seen an episode of Crying Freeman, and I thought the main character was beautiful. But not in a feminine sense. I tried explaining what I meant by beautiful to my friend, and all I could say in comparison, to make him understand, was "Beautiful, like Prince Eric." It's hard for someone so masculine to be considered "beautiful", but really, I guess I spent a long time pondering it, and this little bit of free verse poetry is the best I can describe it.
Crying Freeman:
Though in all honesty, the more I sit and admire him, the more I come to this horrific realization that he looks like a young Tom Cruise.
Dear Lord.
