Spent our anniversary...
on mushrooms and snowshoes wandering around in the woodlot...kept on circling back to scotts favourite magical jack pine stand..i marked our trail once with my urine. tons of nesting and feeding cavities later and us each falling once we found a den in a tree...I tried to tell scott something lives in there but he did pretty much prove me wrong with the lack of tracks around it. We forgot our camera...I guess there was no need for it...
I didn't really start catching or noticing catching until the walk home...it was dark...I was overwhelmed by the traffic. it was sweet getting home at first but i thought my face was melting...the basement and dub was my sanctuary for awhile until i starting thinking about my family and hughy and how much i missed them...especially hughy. I kept thinking about how he felt on mushrooms and how our family is incredibly mystical, close and awesome and its such a powerful thing and to be so far away sucks. that was the first time ever crying on mushrooms....wow....powerful stuff.
Overall good experience and so much appreciation came from it...It was a good anniversary...
