I'm a cheater
Ok- so i know i said i wouldnt be online so much. But i really need to write about this. It feels like summer just started. July 4th was so amazing. I spent it with family and i have confirmed that i am a complete dork. I've been writing stuff down in a notebook i have so that i can remember it. I Went sailing with my grandfather most of the day and it was so much fun. He's not my real grandfather but he's the only one i know. He is so nice to talk to.
Anyways- the fun started yesterday. I almost beat the system I went into work real early and finished at 5:30. OH YES! I drove to N.andover as fast as i could. I got to Cathy's house just in time to find Jenny Marino, Martha, and Kate there. We went to Dunkins for some energy and then met up with squirt, lisa, geoff, and some random people. After a while we began to head up to Woucester. (WE WERE GOING TO SEE GET UP KIDS) Our car rawked so hard. It was Martha, Jenny, Cathy, SQ, and Me. We sang and danced the whole way up. It was very exciting driving with Martha. We enjoyed the first two bands just relaxing in the crowd and such. We got merch and stood in front of fans. Then Get up kids came on. Everyone either layed low or went upstairs to watch. But i hadnt been to a show for so long and i forgot how god it felt. It was pretty full but not packed, which was good. So i just danced through their whole set, feeling the crowd. It was nice. The sound was overwhelming..they're good live. They didnt play too many new songs either- lots of old. I would definitly go see them again. Then we drove back to Cathy's and partyed..and by partyed i mean played some card game and pinball. Elliot stopped by- it was good to see him. We all stayed up till around 3:30 or so...then we all crashed. I didnt sleep easy, and eventually we were all up at 12:30 to find geoff watching the hunting station.. hehe.
It was an amazing time- it made everything feel right again. I need to go to more shows, they make me happy.
