tonight was the Decemberists' concert in Providence, and it was amazing. our friend Andy, went three hours early and so was the first person in line. Therefore our crowd were the first in line, and then we got to be directly infront next to the stage. I was dead center, and Collin kept coming up close, just two feet away. I adore them, especially Collin and Petra. The show was amazing. They played a lot of old songs, and Collin even played "save yourself" on his solo. They finished with a 12 minute rendition of "chimney sweep" and it was just so good. So good. I think possibly better than the concert last May. They still have yet to play "apology song", so that means that I have to go and see yet another of their concerts. They're playing at Avalon Monday, but midterms take some precedence. Despite work and driving in terrible rain, today was awesome, thanks to the Decemberists.
