(no subject)
i'm searching on amazon and half.com for christmas presents, and was going through the "cult favorites" and neither pulp fiction or empire records was among them. there were bunches of listings or rocky horror, and it is a cult classic, but really do you know anyone who actually owns that movie? and then i was thinking about "the phantom tollbooth" today, and decided to look it up. it's only been released on vhs and i guess they haven't made new copies since 1991 because on half.com, the cheapest you can buy it for is $25 (1982 copy) and it was a rental copy. some of the ex rentals are asking $50. and some people are asking for $140. who knew it was so rare?
