about my little crash
i was in a little accident last night on the corner of a main intersection.
it was only little.
an ambulance was coming into the intersection with its lights flashing (and i cant 100% recall if the sirens were on)
so i slammed on the breaks pretty hard. but i couldn't really do much else. the guy behind me (also a P plater who has never been in a crash) tried to swerve into the lane on my left (the one that merges as soon as u get over the intersection) and mis-judged how close he was to my car. i think he was trying hard to stop from going at 70 because the lights were green for us at the time.
anyway so i had just a little bit of damage on the back corner. some scratches and a bit of a hole in the bumper bar and side pannle.
nothign drastic.
his car was worse off than mine.
so we went into the little service road just past the lights (having gotten out of our cars and discussed after he swore for a while) and i took his name, address, phone number and licence number down. i didnt take anything about the car because i didnt think about it. ive never been in an accident so i didnt know wat to do.
i was real shaky tho and i called mum straight away and my parents and chris came to see if i was alright and if all my lights were still working. there wasnt any glass broken or anything.
but yeh
so i called scott while i was waiting. and i cried a little bit (because im a little bit of a sook)
and then my legs were quite sore all night.
i think it was just the shock. or i might of tensed up or something wen he hit me.
the car didnt move tho. and we're both okay.
he's gunna call around 8 to go through the basics. insurance. getting quotes. you know all that kind of stuff.
so ill keep you posted =)
