SO! I had heard that Christopher Eccleston (aka The Ninth Doctor) had been cast in TDiR, but no info whatsoever on who he'd been cast AS. My two guesses were: Merriman, or the Black Rider.
Turns out it's the Black Rider.
Which was my second choice -- I think he'd be a MARVELOUS Merry -- but still.
Reading that article, though -- which of Will's brothers are they giving piercings and tattoos to? I mean, can you see any of them with piercings or tattoos? Maybe Stephen would have a tattoo, but any of the rest? The twins? James? Or questioning their father's authority? Mr. Stanton isn't exactly a strict man, in the books.
I am a little worried about that. I wonder wtf they are up to.
edit: lydiabell says imdb says "Max". Who is the brother whose name I couldn't even remember (Will has 5 living elder brothers), which says to me they're basically inserting a totally new character into the story for some reason.
