so tell me all about drink absinthe. is it like all the stories where you drink it and trip out?

nah not at all. the only thing that was different was that you could just feel the alcohol a lot quicker. in fact, i think having hallucinations from absinthe is a myth. especially with the absinthe they make nowadays. it's not as pure as it used to be.

does it taste bad?

well if you prepare it with the sugar and water, it tastes like liquorice because of the anise. I hate liquorice so it tastes horrible to me that way. But a shot of it just tastes like mouthwash so it wasn't that bad.
