Wow...this year was...

1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before? Auditioned for Drama, Gotten a C on my report card (I hated trig), Been called an "idiot" by a teacher (you can guess which one), went to tutoring, applied to colleges, do something on the weekends with friends, apply for a passport, visit a foreign country (ENGLAND TOTALLY ROCKS!!), take choir (I<3 the class 07').....

miss Mardi Gras, work at a hospital, swim daily laps, tell a guy i liked him, actually remember people's names, have my gallbladder removed, fall for a guy younger than me, stay up all night talking to a guy, drive to school more than twice a week, go to more than 2 catholic high football games, audition for all-state choir, take a class at catholic, and sneak out of the house.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Um, no not really. One of them was to study harder...oops.  I did however hold up the second one: get out of the house!!!  I had so much fun with that one.  For the year 2006...i still have yet to commit something.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? My cousin Ashley...

4. Did anyone close to you die? Not really, 2 of my friends had parents who died..:(

5. What countries did you visit? England (yay!!!), and Canada (Nova Scotia/Prince Edward Island)

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? A boyfriend, a newer car, a house in BR, a better brain ;), a tan...idk...everything.

7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
February 14--another lonely valentine's day, August 1-5--Girls State, First day of school, September 15--got Bells Palsy (not fun let me tell you), October 7--turned 18!!! @ senior retreat, October 31--stayed up all night talking to a guy...um that's about it

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? I began to exercise more as well as was able to regain emotional stability after every curve thrown at me. Oh yeah, I also got a superior rating on my solo performance and ensemble performance. My choir when to State!!!

9. What was your biggest failure? I didn't apply to all the colleges I wanted to over the summer and am to lazy to do it now.  I got a C on my report card...um I forgot way to much information...

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Yes, had problem in the gallbladder...had emergency surgery during x-mas holidays...and uh, like on Sept. 15 half my face went numb (Bell's Palsy); let me tell you that was a lot of fun. It took 3 weeks to be able to smile...until then I sort of smirked ;)...and um those are the major ones.

11. What was the best thing you bought?  I'd have to say a tie between a new electric guitar and a set of 67'classic blue ludwig drums (ok, so they're my dad's?)

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration? Um...idk...i guess we all did well...

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and made you depressed? A certain someone's (i'm over that now, though), my parents, Mr. Tajh, and uh...that's about it

14. Where did most of your money go? gas and x-mas presents (just kidding)

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? making district honor choir, being accepted into a variety of colleges, my parent's allowing me to throw a party

16. What song will always remind you of 2004? i believe in a thing called love--the darkness; your love--the outfield (don't ask..it's from the early 90s...it reminds me of someone); boulevard of broken dreams--Green Day; Ombra Mai Fu--idk (my piece for solo fest last year); til there was you--from the music man (my dramafest piece);

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:

a) happier or sadder? happier, i believe. Not quite so lonely.

b) thinner or fatter? idk...

c) richer or poorer? poorer...actually i believe it's because I went way to far out with the x-mas presents

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? exercise, reading, partying, studying, and as always loving

19. What do you wish you'd done less of? eating, procrastinating, sleeping (way too much), sulking, watching tv

20. How will you be spending Christmas? @ my house with the ENTIRE family coming over...YIKES!!!

21. Did you fall in love in 2004? um...i don't know if it was love..but i guess so..

22. How many one-night stands? None (hello?!!!)

23. What was your favourite TV program? Joan of Arcadia, The Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart, CSI Miami, and Boiling Pt.

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Nope

25. What was the best book you read? Tie between the Divinci Code, Woman in White, and William Shakespeares Othello

26. What was your greatest musical discovery? rap, amazingly its not all crap...but as in discoveries of older stuff...i'd say AC/DC and Creedence Freshwater Revival. in new stuff...jet, the hives, franz ferdinand, the darkness...idk

27. What did you want and get? nothing really

28. What did you want and not get? a new car, a summer job, a b/f,...idk

29. What was your favourite film of this year? Bourne Supremacy and Napolean Dynamite

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was on senior retreat with all my best buds..well some were in other places...but it was great.  I wish i had thrown a party, though...I mean i turned 18...pretty big ya know.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? A home in baton rouge, a boyfriend, a day at the spa, hm....oh and i would have also liked a date to catholic's prom and homecoming...but it wasn't really necessary...

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? relaxed (jeans, t-shirts, flip/flops) and classic (black pencil skirt, cardigans, brooches)

33. What kept you sane? my animals, my music, and my guitar

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Jude Law, Elijah Wood(and um..all the hobbits from LOTR minus bilbo)...British Actors :) are my fav.

35. What political issue stirred you the most? Extreme seperation of church and state, war in iraq, presidential election

36. Who did you miss? Dexter, my best bud who moved to texas in 7th grade...Katie and Annie (friends at CHSPC),...my sis (in college @ ULL),...my buds who didn't have classes with me

37. Who was the best new person you met? Um...there's a pretty big tie...Tiffany/Taylor/Brett/dudes in choir/Erin

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004: Forget regrets...it's not worth them...
