The Half-Blood Prince
Oh. My. Gosh.
I have not cried so hard in a long time. The new HP is incredible.
I forgot to post that I got my copy on Saturday after all! However, I couldn't devour it in one sitting because my parents came to visit, which was, of course, lovely... but I couldn't help wishing that I had the whole house to myself so I could readreadread!!!! But here's the fun part: my mom freaked out when I showed her my copy, so we went to Fred Meyer right then to get her one, returned to the apartment and proceeded to read as fast as we could until we thought it would be good to spend some time with Dad and Joel. So, being the gracious wives that we are, we stopped reading (it was difficult) and watched a movie.
The best part about reading with my mom was that we read at exactly the same speed, so we'd gasp and laugh out loud and make worried sounds at exactly the same time! It was fun.
Anyway, to make a long story short... I just read the last page.
What can I say? You have to read it.
