The latest
I was at Lau's Halloween party a couple of weeks ago, which was great.
nic_nic was staying with me for the weekend, which was nice as I hadn't seen her in ages. Unfortunately I was useless on the Sunday due to my monster hangover...
Then this weekend Matt and I were in Edinburgh for
quirkyeyebrows birthday. We had a really nice meal at Izzi and I was served the largest plate of chow mein I have ever seen. We stayed with
tjoff on the Friday - thanks again! hope the kits are OK, they're getting so big! On the Saturday Fi, Julian and their dog Luath (it's gaelic for fast) came to pick us up. We then stayed with them for two nights just outside Edinburgh. They live in a flat on a big estate - it's beautiful. We had a great weekend. I hadn't seen Fi in a very long time and it was great to catch up with her. She was very good to me and took me to see my parents on the Sunday. Me, her and Matt sat and had a good natter with them. On the Sunday night we were treated to fireworks at her parents house and I enjoyed them a lot. I also enjoyed the very fine whisky (from Islay) that her Dad provided us with :-)

I'm getting really excited about my new job now. I start at the beginning of December but I finish at IOPP a week on Friday. Lots to do before I move though!
