Lluvia de fuego en Nejapa, El Salvador (Cuzcatlan). Las bolas de fuego de Nejapa, una nueva tradición que se ha convertido en toda una atracción nacional.
The town of Nejapa, El Salvador (Cuzcatlan) is the place of one of the most singular traditions of El Salvador "The war of Fireballs" it takes place during the town festivities of its patron saint, two bands of youngsters take position at each side of the town's church and start throwing fireballs at each other, this tradition began when the old inhabitants of Nejapa in an act of defiance to mother nature threw back towards the San Salvador volcano the incandescent rocks that originated from one of its eruptions.
