Honesty and Trustworthiness are two of the things i look for in friends. I believe they are important characteristics to have in order to be a successful person. High school is a time in ones life when they learn about themselves and they learn who their true friends are. Well my question is: How many of your friends are actually honest and trustworthy? I say none. I am beginning to realize that no one tells me the truth. No one can keep a secret. So basically, everyone is lying right to my face. I just don't get it. How can someone act to be your friend and then turn around and talk about you behind your back. I just am not sure who i can trust anymore. I just want someone to talk to who will keep it between the two of us, but when i think i have found the one that will keep my secret, they are the one who tells everyone. Everyone talks about me behind my back and i know it. I mean i didn't think that was what friends did.
Earlier today I found a note and out of the nature of curiosity i picked it up, of course. I read a bit of it and realized it was from someone I have been close with lately to one of my other friends, but i won't mentions names. and this is what i read: "I'm sorry...I will just put it aside and not worry about things. Just promise me you won't become another Lauracindy! We won't be good friends if you do."
I mean come on. This person was supposed to be my friend. I guess not. I just don't get it. I mean i know not everyone likes me, but at least if you have something against me you could tell me to my face and you could stop pretending to be my friend. I would actually appreciate it. If you're a true friend act like it all the time, not just when i am around. If you're not a true friend just don't act like you are. Geeze.
