I'm starting to resent the fact that I meet spectacular guys who end up being emotionally unavailable, or unable to just take a chance and just let the chips fall. Things can be going SO well and then we get stuck in traffic and off they go on a detour. I could let it make me angry, but instead I guess I'm just ashamed

I doubt you're desperate either, but if you're really looking for that special someone and you look for it in the guys you meet right away--that is, you start speculating right off the bat that "he could be the one" then that could read. It did for me. Anytime I reeeaaaly liked a guy, it came across loud and clear, and nearly every time it never worked out.
So next time you meet someone awesome, just be yourself, and try not to "wonder if." Next thing you know, you'll be wondering why your phone won't stop ringing and you'll find yourself worried that he's "too clingy."
I swear to god, this works, I'm not just blowing smoke. ;)

BUT....
...after a group bonfire on Saturday for our church, there were 5 people who were discussing how "cozy" we were getting... (I know this through a friend who was one of the 5, she confronted me.)
So even if we're just being friends...apparently our body language speaks volumes.
