Kinds of Love
Is it new love that connects and attracts us, is that what it is? I never knew that the feeling. What I have is regular old love because it’s so intricate, so rare. Perhaps there is another name for it, one we don’t yet know. I used to think that love was simple and noticeable, like rain falling. That there was just one kind of love. But what I’ve learned is that there are different levels of love that we can achieve. But overall, love is pain in many ways. Such as, it takes a strong person to be put into a situation of strain and discomfort from wanting someone so badly but you can't because of how young you are. Is going through that kind of pain worth it? Some stick it out because they know it will be worth it in the end. Sometimes love is sacrificial and sometimes you have to compromise. Or a break up. Or knowing you can’t have your best friend. Or falling in love but then falling out of it. Or falling in love with someone else. How I wish there was just one kind of love; the good kind that ends well. Does that exist? - Me
