Where does the time go?
How can it be that again I find myself updating after eons of not updating even one small and insignificant event?? So now I guess I'm expected to update everyone on my last few weeks. Well, I can sum that up in about one sentence - work! It's not really that much, it just SEEMS like I live at the bank. Oh well, my last day it the sixteenth, yippee! So anyway, it's been mostly work and some fun. Going to Maine with Sara (definitely fun, sitting around for two days doing absolutely NoThInG is such a lost art!!)
Oh, on Sunday I played the piano in church, but almost forgot to play. :) It was like this: I played the Prelude at the beginning and then was supposed to play the offetory a few minutes later, but I forgot that in the summertime they're a lot closer together than usual because the entire church service is a little shorter. So, it comes time for the offering and I'm still sitting in the pew just waiting to give my offering. The people are starting to collect and finally I realized that I was supposed to be playing and ran up and started to play. Needless to say I was cracking up through the entire song but I didn't mess up!!
So then left for Maine Sunday to Tuesday afternoon. Helped my friend Liz and her family move into a sweet apartment. (Think 1/2 of a really large very nice house) They deserve it!
Wed thru Saturday = WORK :( oh well, only 2 more weeks! Then Saturday to Sunday @ my grandmothers in Fall Reve for a clam bake, I love steamers. Then Sunday (Today, oh, yesterday) cleaning and then hanging out w/ Andy, Oak definitely ditched us... :(
and watching the most randomly weird movie (Adaptation or something like that... don't watch it, it's not worth it!)
So that about covers me up until now. I need to get ready for Gatsby on Saturday. I think I figured out what I'm making for food and we can use the lights that I have for decoration!! So I may have found a dress but I'm not quite sure if it'll work. I'm hanging out all day tomorrow for anyone who wants to come do fun stuff with me in the morning and then whatever in the afternoon, call my cell!
Anyway, now I think I'll head off to read or do something because having coffee at about 9 is kind of keeping me up...also feeling kinda meh, so send love!
