what is going on!
laura has a crush. laura never gets crushes, ever. laura never thinks about having relationships with people...ever. but alas, i currently have a crush. i have no idea where it's going, but it feels nice to have someone tell you that you're hot and act like they want to be with you. i know i like him for sure because i gave up sleep for him. i never ever do that. we'll see.
the current drama here at work is that an attorney was supposed to fly in for a deposition and he never showed. turned out he re scheduled his own flight that was paid for by our company credit card. woof.
so this past weekend, emily and i went down to the old city to hear a band, blue merle, for a hurricane katrina benefit. the band was pretty good...a little too "phish" like for my taste. my shoes were killing my feet and i ran out of money before i could get drunk, but nonetheless, we had fun. and we randomly ran into my crush at a bar. eee!
i went home saturday to hang out with my sister. we had fun shopping for her condo. my parents got back from their cruise yesterday, so i sad hi to them and made my way back here.
now, i'm completely exhausted but i gotta get some work done. thank god for red bull.
