never...ever...under any circumstances pay a bill when you've been out drinking.
i accidentally confused the minimum payment for my renters insurance ($17) with the full balance ($171) and paid the entire balance...therefore causing me to be out of money for the week and overdraft my bank account.
luckily, usaa is sending me a check of the difference...but in the meantime, i guess i have to use my discover card.
just...never....ever do anything related to paying bills after drinking.
